Thiruvananthapuram: The donations to Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) has crossed the Rs 1,000-crore, mark.

On Thursday evening, the total contribution to the relief fund stood at Rs 1026 crore.

Around 4.76 lakh, people have made online contributions for the flood-stricken state so far.

Rs 835.86 crore, has been donated through direct deposits and cheques, Rs 145.17 crore, through electronic payments and Rs 46.04 crore, through UPI.

The chief minister has expressed his gratitude for the relief-and-rescue work done by different units of security forces and disaster management in the state.
