Palakkad: BJP worker Pranav was beaten up by the Students Federation of India (SFI) activists in Palakkad, Kerala. The incident happened in Nemmara. Pranav is suffering from an eye injury.

The incident happened on Monday at Nemmara Boys' School. Pranav was assaulted when he tried to stop the SFI activists from attacking students in connection with the school election.

The SFI activists continued to attack Pranav even after he fell on the road and was pleading for help. Pranav has said that the police took him to the hospital. The cops have registered a case against 15 people.

This is not for the first time that SFI activists are attacking BJP workers. Several such incidents have been witnessed in college campuses in Kerala. Many students have even lost their lives due to politics rampant in schools and colleges.

The Left parties have almost always denied these allegations. While the LDF-led groups, instead, point fingers at activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). So far, they have failed to produce any evidence to support their claims.

As the Left is in power in Kerala, SFI groups are confident that they will be let off soon, claim BJP workers.

"In Kannur, if SFI activist does any mistake, they will be taken to the police station and after a few hours, they will be released. But for BJP workers will be kept in the police station for a number of hours and will even be taken to jail for no mistake of theirs. I personally have faced that," said Arjun K, a BJP worker from Kannur.
