On the day of India's 72 Independence Day, a controversial incident surfaced from Karnataka where a Congress MP's driver was seen carrying the leader’s slippers. KH Muniyappa, former union minister and seven-time MP from Kolar, had come to attend a religious function at Shiva temple, Kolar. And he allegedly instructed his driver to bring the slippers left in the car to the temple entrance.
