An audio recording of a Karnataka JD(S) leader threatening a labourer and demanding money from him in Gadag has gone viral. Also, other members of the party have alleged that the JD(S) district president Andanaiah Kurthakotimath was seeking money from the people through his close aide Abdul Narasapur. Abdul had spoken to drainage worker Raju and demanded money from him for the party. When refused, he threatened the labourer. Criticising this, the JD(S) members have demanded resignation from Andanaiah and action against Abdul.
