Ganesha pandal was destroyed in fire due to short circuit. Ganesha Bhakta Mandali held its 25th year celebration on Thursday for Ganesha Chaturthi. The fire broke out after a lamp kept for ‘arathi’ fell. The devotees tried dousing the fire by pouring water, but they could not save the structure. Fortunately, no casualties reported. A case was registered at Kolar rural police station.
