Jammu: Advocate Deepika Singh Rajawat, after being dumped by the family of the Kathua rape-and-murder case victim, is now running from pillar to post to save her government accommodation which was given to her as a "special case".

On November 17, MyNation had published the details of the house Rajawat had managed to get from the Mehbooba Mufti government in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rajawat's desperation to save her government accommodation is seen from a tweet in which she complained of harassment at the hands of "concerned officials".

Mufti, who will soon be getting a notice to evacuate her government accommodation herself with Governor Satya Pal Malik having decided to dissolve the Assembly, came to the rescue of Rajawat.

Mufti tweeted: "How strange- a young woman who stood against the storm of barbarity to defend the little girl is being forced to vacate the govt accommodation. Much needed intervention by HE @jandkgovernor for her safety and security."

Rajawat also sought the help of veteran journalist Shekhar Gupta. This is not the first time that Rajawat has tried to influence journalists of a certain ideology and use them as a shield against hard-hitting questions.
