IAS officers to get more benefits from Kerala government

The Kerala Cabinet meeting has decided to provide more benefits to IAS officers in the state. The nod for these benefits was given by the Seventh Pay Commission

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government will now have to pay drinking water and electricity bills of the IAS officers in the state, it was decided by the state Cabinet on Wednesday. The limit of fuel for private travel has also been scrapped. Similarly, there won’t be any limit on the salary paid to attendees kept in IAS officers’ residences. Till now, Rs 3000 per month was paid as salary to an attendee. Now onwards, there won’t be any limit to that also.
