Gurugram: Three members of a family were found dead on Wednesday night in Pataudi’s Brijpura village, a few kilometres away from Gurugram.

A one-year-old girl, who suffered grave injuries, died in the hospital.

The police said that the identity of the accused has not been found out yet.

Fulbati (62), her son Manish (28), daughter-in-law Pinki (23), and granddaughter Charu (1) were identified as members of the family involved. 

Brijpura village sarpanch, Karan Singh said, “Around 9 pm, locals noticed that the doors of Fulbati’s house were wide open. When they went inside to see if everything was alright, the bodies of Fulbati and Manish were found lying in a pool of blood on the ground. I immediately informed the police”.

Both Fulbati and Manish were critically injured. Pinki’s body was found hanging from the ceiling. Charu, the youngest was found alive and rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

After the incident was reported, top police officials arrived at the spot and were deployed in the entire village. 

ACP (Pataudi) Veer Singh has said that they are investigating the homicide and have detained the corpses for post-mortem investigation.
