New Delhi/Noida: Controversy's child Aam Admi Party MLA and former minister Somnath Bharti’s latest obnoxious act of abusing a TV journalist on live television has landed him in fresh trouble. The journalist has filed an FIR against Bharti in Noida.

It had all started with a heated political discussion where Bharti was on the panel via phone. When Bharti didn't like some questions from the journalist, he started hurling invectives at her to the extent of calling her a “prostitute”.

In the FIR, the complainant has said, "I am a journalist in Sudarshan News channel. AAP’s Malviya Nagar MLA Somnath Bharti abused me on live television and asked me to turn into a prostitute… He has not only abused me but also called me an agent of BJP."

The complainant has even alleged that Bharti threatened to shut the operations of Sudarshan News. She alleged, “By the use of his language, Somnath Bharti has crossed all level of decency while talking to a woman.”

The FIR has been lodged at the women's police station in Noida under IPC Section 504 and Section 509.
