New Delhi: Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari has once again threatened to de-seal a premise in north-east Delhi that was sealed by the civic body ruled by the BJP itself. This has given rise to the risk of a major law and order problem in the area.

A case had been registered against Tiwari for de-sealing the premise that was sealed by the BJP-ruled MCD (east) on Sunday.

"

After the premise was sealed back, Tiwari said he would visit Gokulpuri again to open the premise, according to the police.

Tiwari, in a video that emerged, is seen de-sealing the premise, where a dairy was running illegally. In the video, he is seen unlocking the the doors by removing the government seal.

"A case has been registered against Manoj Tiwari after a complaint was given by deputy director, MCD. A police force has been deployed in the area to maintain law and order situation," DCP north-east, Atul Kumar Thakur said.

According to the police, the Rapid Action Force (RAF) may be deployed if the situation continues to be tense.

"He will be visiting the area again, a case has been registered against him, if he tries to de-seal the area again, we will arrest him as per legal proceedings," a police official said.

Interestingly, the MCD (east), which has complained against Tiwari, is also ruled by the BJP. The party had won the MCD elections under his guidance, defeating the AAP. It was expected that Tiwari, a member of Parliament, would be the face of the Delhi BJP in upcoming elections. According to the locals, though, this is nothing but a political stunt by Tiwari.
