Bengaluru: Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik categorically stated that neither he nor his party would contest elections henceforth. But, he remained committed to his idea that he would continue to strive for Hindu rights, ban on cow slaughter, and also for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. In this regard, he also stated that he would continue to support any party that would keep these interests in mind.
Reacting to Muthalik’s statements, the BJP, in a way surmised that he would automatically be supporting the BJP because the saffron party is the only one that represents Hindus and strives hard for the construction of Ram Mandir.
