Bengaluru: Two IT companies feed 600 people in slums every day, thanks to Swabhiman (Video)

Swabhiman, an NGO striving to help people below poverty line is serving food to 600 people every day. Swabhiman contacted the IT companies , where good quality food is being wasted every day. Two companies have come forward to give their left over food, which is then sorted by Swabhiman and taken to slums in Koramangala in Bengaluru. According to statistics, 8000 people live in slums in Bengaluru and 50% of them are living below poverty line. Thus every day, 600 people are being fed by Swabhiman with Dal, roti, rice, vegetables and sometimes even sweets. If two companies can contribute to feed 600 people every day, imagine how many hungry souls can be fed if every company joins hands.
