An All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) has joined banned outfit United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I). The video, where Pankaj Pratim Dutta is seen dressed in Army attire with an assault rifle, has gone viral on social media. Dutta, vice-president of AASU's Dergaon unit in Assam's Golaghat district, claimed that he had joined the outfit group led by Paresh Baruah alias Paresh Asom. Pankaj was missing since September 5 and his family members had lodged a missing report at Dergaon police station.
