Ambareesh no more: Actor-politician's ardent fan commits suicide in Mandya
Actor Ambareesh breathed his last at Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru. Actor's fan from his hometown in Hotte Gowdanadoddi in Mandya committed suicide, after hearing the news of his favourite star’s death.
Mandya: Following veteran actor-politician Ambareesh's death in Bengaluru on November 24, an ardent fan of the actor allegedly committed suicide in Mandya. The deceased has been identified as Thammaiah. He slept on a railway track, after he heard the news of the actor's death. A train ran over him, cutting his head and the body. The incident happened at Hotte Gowdana Doddi in Maddur taluk, Mandya district, which is the hometown of Ambareesh. Thammaiah is survived by his wife Sudha and two children.
