Chennai: The ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) is open to a coalition with different political parties in Tamil Nadu. State fisheries minister D Jayakumar said that their party would gladly welcome an alliance with any other party as long as it is not MK Stalin's Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and TTV Dinakaran's Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK).

When asked about MK Stalin's statement on AMMK's MLAs shift to the DMK party, Jayakumar said that such incidents would never occur, and Stalin is trying to safeguard his party.  He also said that their party would come up with a mega alliance and see victory.
