In yet another victory for Indian government, AgustaWestland scam accused Rajiv Saxena was extradited from the  UAE on Wednesday. According to sources, he had played an  important role in the Rs 3,600 crore AgustaWestland helicopter deal.

Saxena is not the only one who has been extradited.  Deepak Talwar, an accused in a money laundering case, has been sent back to India. Both the accused reached  India by 12 AM.

Like other operations, this one was planned and executed as per the order of NSA Ajit Doval.

Saxena's lawyer Geeta Luthra and Prateek Yadav complained, "Rajiv Saxena was picked by the UAE state security from his residence this morning at 9:30 AM (UAE time) and illegally extradited to India around 5:30 PM (UAE time) .”

The lawyers said further that the extradition proceedings did not start in the UAE. They said that Saxena was not allowed access to his family or lawyers or essential daily medicine and also that Saxena was made to board a private jet from a private terminal at Dubai International Airport.
