It looks like the #MeToo allegation is going to change Kannada actress Sruthi Hariharan's life forever. Following her allegations against popular south actor Arjun Sarja that have landed both in the court of law, there is news that Sruthi will be dropped from a film, that was waiting to be finalised.

Currently, Sruthi  does not have any Kannada films on her hand. Two films she has acted in — Nathicharami and Tesla — are slated for release soon. Apart from this, Sruthi was said to play the leading lady in the film to be directed by BS Lingadevaru. But now, news is that Sruthi is no more the heroine of the movie.

However, according to Suvarna News reports, Lingadevaru was yet to finalise the heroine and he had never announced that Sruthi was the one. He even refuted claims that Sruthi's name was omitted due to #MeToo incident.

Sruthi Hariharan has acted in 18 Kannada movies including Lucia that gave her recognition as an actress and she became  one of the heroines in demand in the industry.

Sruthi has also acted in Malayalam and Tamil movies. She has acted in 28 movies (including three that are waiting for release). Her recent film is Ambi Ning Vayassaytho along with actor Sudeep.
