New Delhi: On Thursday, #MeTooIndia hit the Congress as well. Already under the cloud of a sexual harassment case, Congress’s student wing chief Fairoz Khan was alleged to have threatened other girls not to speak the truth in the matter, or else they would be fired from their positions.
Twitter handle @AbeebaJMUI tweeted: “Help #MeTooIndia Fairoz Khan who had sexually exploited a NSUI (sic) member & her sister is now threatening other girls- Fairoz has told them if they will speak- all wl (sic) be removed from the present posts. At present 5 NSUI girls were molested by Fairoz!”

In the same thread, Abeeba also posted the police complaint filed by the victim who alleged sexual harassment at the hands of Khan. “The victim & her sister approached Rahul Gandhi & many big leaders. But instead of taking action against NSUI Chief Fairoz Khan, She ws (sic) threatened again & again. Many othr (sic) girls wre (sic) also askd (sic) to remain silent. Are they waiting for her suicide? We pray for her safety,” another tweet of hers said.

Khan was cherry-picked by Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and given the reins of the National Students Union of India (NSUI). A former colleague had lodged a police complaint against him at the Parliament Street police station.
The complainant expressed serious concerns about her well-being and the safety of her family from Khan and has asked the Delhi police for security cover.

MyNation could not reach Khan despite repeated phone calls.
In her complaint, the victim said, “I am feeling a serious threat to my security and that of my family members from a person from Jammu and Kashmir named Fairoz Khan who is (the) national president of NSUI, student wing of (the) Indian National Congress.”
The victim has narrated her ordeal in the complaint. “The accused constantly asked me to come to his room in a Bangalore (Bengaluru) hotel at odd hours, especially midnight, which I tried to avoid and deny. He constantly pressured me for the same.”
The complainant also enclosed with her plaint screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation between Khan and her.
Once again, as in the last case of sexual harassment in the social media department of the Congress, which MyNation had exposed, the victim has alleged that the Congress, including its high command, was shielding the accused.
“I also complained on this issue in the Indian National Congress, they formed a committee for namesake (sic), which just tried to save him and did not take any action. I brought the issue in consideration of the national leadership of Congress. But, they just asked for time till take any action. But, nothing has been done till date even after 80 days on my complaint. I complained on 12th June 2018,” the complainant said.
The complainant added, “I am mentally harassed and fear for my security from Fairoz Khan as he may take any action against me to hurt me and my family physically, mentally and other possible means and methods.”
“I request you to kindly take cognisance of this issue and provide me security. If any untoward incident happens to me, my sister or any member of my family. Fairoz Khan will be the person responsible for it. This request is for the security threat,” the victim said in her complaint.
