DimeADozen AI tool

Salvatore Aiello and Monica Powers, the two friends met each other for the first time in a virtual startup founder meetup event that took place last year. Despite having full-time jobs, the two worked together in their off-hours and built an AI company called ‘DimeADozen’ using ChatGPT. This tool can be used to test new business ideas and assess the future performance.

Creating an AI tool in four days

Salvatore Aiello and Monica Powers asked nuanced questions from ChatGPT and implemented their ideas in the right manner. According to reports, it took them only four days to execute this idea and turn it into a success.

Revenue of Rs 54.8 lakh

This AI tool was up and running in just under seven months. In the initial days, the company generated a revenue of Rs 54.8 lakh. A couple, Felipe Arosemena and Danielle de Corneille, learned about this rapidly growing business, and offered to buy it at a price of Rs 1.2 crore. Felipe is a software designer and Corneille is a product designer.

Salvatore Aiello and Monica Powers have sold the company; however, they will continue to be involved in the business as advisors. Sal Aiello has been working on a technology startup for quite some time, and Monica Powers runs a strategic design and branding company called ‘Mascot.’
