The Animal Welfare & Care Services Charitable Trust (AWCS) got involved and asked for help to find the person responsible. Within two days, Singh was arrested, but after apologizing, he was let go without punishment. He made an apology video and wrote a statement to say sorry for his actions. He was also told to feed dogs in his area to make up for what he did.

The video went viral within 48 hours, and Singh was arrested and taken to the station to be questioned. But once he formally apologised, Singh was absolved of punishment, even though his conduct were quite serious. Singh produced a video apology and also gave a written statement expressing regret for his conduct in an effort to seek forgiveness for his horrific behaviour. He was also ordered to feed the dogs in his town as an act of apology for his vicious actions.

AWCS was disappointed that Singh wasn't punished enough, even though he apologised. The community was angry and wanted justice, but Singh's family begged for forgiveness because they were worried about his future job and plans to move abroad.

After talking to the police, Singh admitted he was wrong. His family asked for forgiveness to protect his future, even though people were upset. This situation shows why it's important to teach people to be kind to animals and to have stricter punishments for hurting them.
