According to government sources on Sunday, the council of ministers has been deliberating over vision documents for Viksit Bharat 2047 and a comprehensive action plan for the following 5 years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the meeting.
A 100-day plan for the first actions to be performed in the event of a new government being formed in May was discussed and agreed upon during the discussion.

The Viksit Bharat strategy, which featured a "the entire government" approach, was the outcome of more than two years of intense preparation. The sources further state that the process comprised extensive consultations with state governments, academia, industrial bodies, civil society, scientific organizations, and youth mobilization to solicit their thoughts, views, and inputs.

What is the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, according to PM Modi?

As per Modi's earlier statements, the objective of the Viksit Bharat vision is to facilitate every citizen's participation in the economy.
