Hyderabad: A fire broke out in Telangana Express train at 7:43am, said Northern Railway spokesperson Deepak Kumar.

Fire broke out in two coaches of the Hyderabad-New Delhi Telangana Express train at Asaoti station in Haryana, today.

No casualties have been reported and officials have said that passengers are safe. The two coaches that caught fire have been separated. The fire has been doused now and the situation is under control.

According to a PTI report, Deepak Kumar said, "Train number 12723 Hyderabad Ndls Telangana Express was stopped between Asaoti and Ballabgarh at 7:43 am due to heavy smoke and flames from wheels of the ninth coach from the rear end. The up and down movement has now been stopped in the affected section."
