New Delhi: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee’s star campaigner Vijayashanti courted controversy with her statement comparing Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a terrorist.

While Rahul Gandhi was in Shamshabad, Telangana, to address a public meeting, Vijayashanti, who shared the dais, said that people are scared Modi may drop a bomb, just like they would when it comes to a terrorist.

Every single person is worried when Modi will drop the bomb, she said. He looks like a terrorist leaving people in fear rather than earning their love, she added.

Vijayashanti further questioned if a Prime Minister should behave this way.

After the rally in Haveri, Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi in Telangana claimed that Modi divided the country into two Indias - one, an India which was filled with the rich like the Nirav Modis and Choksis. And two, an India that was filled with youth with no employment.
While Modi, during a rally in Karnataka last week, alleged that State chief minister HD Kumaraswamy was remote-controlled by the Congress, Rahul Gandhi today claimed that Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is being remote-controlled by Modi.

Rahul Gandhi stressed on how KCR and his party Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) always supported the BJP and the Prime Minister in every decision from demonetisation, GST to Rafale. “Has your chief minister ever spoken about Modi and the Rafale deal and sought an inquiry?” he questioned.
