Bengaluru: As the Indian Idol season began and its latest trailer went viral, people searched for one name and that is 'Yuvraj Madhe'.

Madhe, a sweeper at the set, before singing the song that has set the internet on fire said he learned everything from the mistakes of the contestants pointed out by judges.

The video of Madhe singing Khel Mandala from shot film Natarang featuring Atul Kulkarni has already garnered 5.52 crore views since it was uploaded on YouTube.

Madhe is the son of a labourer from Jalgoan and has worked on sets of Super Singer, Big Boss earlier and knows the industry and everyone recognises him, but what many did not know is about his hidden singing talent.

Madhe credits his journey and popularity now to his friends who supported him and told him to draw inspiration from previous contestants and singers from poor families who won the title.

He says, his friends particularly took the reference of Sunny Hindustani, a boot polisher who went on to grab the season 11 title with sheer commitment and talent.
They reportedly said if a shoe shiner can come and win, then you too can surely do it.

The judges Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshamiyya were left emotional after the song as they did not expect someone from their set to come and shine on the stage.
