Malappuram: BJP Vallikkunnu assembly segment committee conducted a special ritual at a temple in Kerala for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's second term. The special puja was performed at Moonniyur Kaliyattakkavu temple in Kerala's Malappuram district, ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister. According to the puja, coconut leaves in the form of a horse were offered in the temple. 

Before the Lok Sabha election, the temple protection committee state secretary AO Jagannivasan had offered to dedicate the holy horse in the temple if Narendra Modi comes to power for the second time.  Abhibhashaka Parishad state committee member advocate Aravind and mandala president P Jayannivasan attended the special ritual in the temple.

Earlier, Abheeshta siddhi puja was performed in Panniyoor Varahamoorthy temple in Palakkad district of Kerala on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. This special puja was performed on Anizham (star) day as Narendra Modi’s birth star is Anizham. It is also said that this puja was performed on the day when voting in Varasani was going on. The same puja is formed in the past when Modi became the Gujarat chief minister. 

It is believed that the puja is performed usually by people when their wish comes true. For performing the puja, the BJP state leaders V T Rema, Madathil Ravi, K Narayanan and Ravi Thelathu arrived at the temple.

On  BJP National president Amit Shah' birthday  the same puja was performed in the temple.

Narendra Modi is taking oath as Prime Minister at 7 pm on Thursday (May 30). The swearing-in ceremony of Modi will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan and President Ram Nath Kovind will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the PM and other members of the Union Council of Ministers.
