Vadakara: After the Lok Sabha results were announced, a lot of violence has been reported from different part of Kerala. Against the backdrop of violent clashes following the announcement of election results, a prohibitory order has been issued by the district collector Seeram Sambasiva Rao in certain police station limits at Vadakara.
The UDF won in 19 out of 20 Lok Sabha constituencies in Kerala. AM Arif of the LDF won in Alappuzha. All the 20 Parliamentary constituencies in Kerala went to polls in the third round of the seven-phased Lok Sabha election on April 23. On counting day, political drama unfolded in several constituencies as UDF stood ahead in the race.
The orders have come into effect at Nadapuram, Valayam and Kuttiyadi police station limits in Vadakara. The restriction will continue till Sunday 10 am.
More than ten persons will not be allowed to gather at a place, and people will not be allowed to carry a weapon or hold rallies/dharnas in these prohibited areas. People won’t be allowed to indulge in any activity that would disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the society.
