New Delhi: Within a week after assuming office for a second term, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started forming and reconstituting committees to deal with the weakening economy and increasing unemployment in the country. 

 The Modi government has formed eight Cabinet committees with home minister Amit Shah included in all of them. While making a big change this time, the prime minister has not included Rajnath Singh in the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA) and Parliamentary Affairs.

The eight core committees which are reconstituted include the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), Cabinet Committee on Accession (CCA), Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), Cabinet Committee on Parliament Affairs (CCPA), Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA), Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), Cabinet Committee on Investment and Growth, Cabinet Committee on Employment and Skill Development.

 The appointment committee of the cabinet will be composed by PM Modi and home minister Shah.

The composition of Cabinet Committee on Accommodation will be with Shah, road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and railway minister Piyush Goyal. Apart from them Jitendra Singh and Hardeep Singh Puri have also been included.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs includes PM Modi, Rajnath, Shah, Gadkari, DV Sadananda Gowda, Nirmala, Narendra Singh Tomar, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Dr S Jaishankar, Goyal and Dharmendra Pradhan. 

The composition of the Cabinet Committee on Parliament Affairs has been given to Shah, Nirmala, Ramvilas Paswan, Tomar, Prasad, Thawar Chand Gehlot, Prakash Javadekar and Prahlad Joshi. Also Arjun Ram Meghwal and V Muraleedharan have been included.

The Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs includes PM Modi, Shah, Gadkari, Nirmala, Paswan, Tomar, Prasad, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Dr Harshvardhan, Goyal, Arvind Ganpat Sawant and Joshi.

The Cabinet Committee on Security consists of PM Modi, Rajnath, Shah, Nirmala and Jaishankar. 

The Cabinet Committee on Investment and Growth includes PM Modi, Shah, Gadkari, Nirmala and Goyal. 

In the Cabinet Committee on Employment and Skill Development, there are PM Modi, Shah, Nirmala, Tomar, Goyal, Ramesh Pokhriyal, Pradhan, Mahendra Nath Pandey, Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Hardeep Singh Puri. Also, Gadkari, Harsimrat Kaur, Smriti Irani and Prahlad Singh Patel have been included.

The Modi government has reconstituted the following eight Cabinet committees
