Indian train chaos caused by extreme crowding has been widely discussed for quite some time. The terrible reality is that some people are forced to take in the restrooms due to overcrowded coaches, while others are unable to find seats that they have confirmed.
A woman by the name of Nilisha Mantri recently came out with an identifying image that showed the horrifying scenario inside an incredibly packed AC carriage.
It appeared more like a packed general or sleeping coach than a comfortable AC compartment.

In less than a day, the post that was shared on X garnered 2.1 million views and ignited a heated discussion on the social media platform. The woman was seated in the AC three-tier carriage, and the photo in the post showed a number of others standing around.

Nilisha described what happened to her when she traveled on the Chetak Express, which runs between Udaipur and Delhi Sarai Rohilla. Even though she had paid for a three-tier AC ticket, her comfort level was low because she was feeling like in General Class.

After seeing the post, the railways quickly requested Nilisha's PNR/UTS number and mobile number in order to handle the complaint as soon as possible. They additionally provided avenues for instant complaint registration in order to ensure timely resolution.

How people reacted to photos?

A person wrote in agitation, "It doesn’t look like an like an AC coach, and such an old train is still in use with overcrowding; it can result in an accident."

One of them said, "The condition of stations became so poor in India that we even failed to enter even the train after buying a Tier 1 AC ticket."

"@AshwiniVaishnaw When will we be able to travel by train more comfortably, sir?" A third individual commented on the post, saying, "Although the government and you are doing a terrific job, still something needs to be changed."

A fourth user wrote, "Looks like coach is Sleeper class, not 3AC."
