Western Railways releases a special train between Dadar and Valsad for the convenience of passengers. The Special train will depart from Dadar at 18.25 hrs with 23 coaches & will halt at all stoppages of 59023 MMCT-Valsad fast passenger.
Fire Dept and Medical Health teams are conducting rescue operations at Navghar Mithagar. One person has been rescued and transferred to DM Petit Hospital. The medical team has also visited other flood struck areas, assessed houses and searched for other stranded people.

Maharashtra CM, Devendra Fadnavis says high tide is expected at 12 noon. Situation will be monitored. "Last night Mumbai police received 1600-1700 tweets from people, they received immediate help. BMC Disaster Management worked the entire night. Heavy rainfall is expected in next 2 days. We are prepared for it," said Fadnavis.
