Bengaluru: When you want to travel to a distant city or place using a train, the first thing you have to do is to book a seat. To do this, you have to use the IRCTC ticketing website of the Indian Railways.

To make it more friendly and effective, the Railways has decided to upgrade it using the latest features.

Its importance becomes more crucial considering that it is the first point of contact for the people. So the Railways ministry is looking to upgrade it.

Union Railway Minister Piyush Minister said, “Under the new digital India, more and more people are now moving towards booking the tickets online rather than going to the reservation counters and therefore IRCTC website needs to really double its efforts to constantly upgrade itself”.
