123-feet long dosa

Recently, a new record has been set involving dosa. In celebration of its 100th anniversary, MTR Foods and Lorman Kitchen Equipments collaborated to make a 123-feet long dosa. This feat has been registered in the Guinness World Records for the longest dosa ever made.

A team of 75 chefs

This remarkable feat has been accomplished by a team of 75 chefs, led by Chef Regi Mathew at MTR’s Bommasandra factory. The chefs collaborated to make it a success. For the dosa batter, red rice was used. With a practice spanning weeks, the team meticulously executed their plan. The dosa measured an impressive 123.03 feet in length. Chef Reggie shared this exciting news on his social media handle. Remarkably, this feat has been achieved on MTR’s 100th anniversary.

Previous record

The previous record for the world’s largest dosa stood at 54 feet. And it was also set by MTR. On March 15, 2024, Chef Regi Mathew made the announcement of the new Guinness World Record for the longest dosa ever made. He extended his gratitude and congratulations to every person involved in the endeavour.
