This year's Holi celebration was even more special and colourful at Ayodhya, as it marked the first Holi at the Ram Temple. The devotees celebrated the 'Rangotsav' inside the temple. It was a heavenly sight to see, especially since it was Ram Lalla's first Holi.

The pictures were posted on X (Twitter) by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust showcasing the regal arrangements and festivities. The post said, "Rangotsav at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir."

The festival started with applying gulal to the almighty in the Hanumangarhi Temple and then the 'Rangbhari Ekadashi' marked the beginning of the Holi festival this year. Many people all over the world gathered and celebrated the day with Lord Ram's sighting and sang mantras and worship songs. Prasad was also offered to the devotees.

Before the celebration, the chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das announced the grand celebration for Holi at Ram Temple. He said, This year, Holi is being celebrated in a grand manner in reverence to Lord Ram. Just as Lord Ram took form in Ayodhya, this year, after the pran pratishtha ceremony, the way devotees flocked here for his darshan, creating a wonderful atmosphere, is truly remarkable.”

Ram Mandir is a Hindu temple believed to be built in the same place as the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Its foundations were laid by the Prime Minister in 2020 and since then it has been one of the most visited temples in the nation.
