A Dreamer with a Mic

Prajakta’s career began with an internship at a radio station, where she harbored aspirations of becoming a radio jockey. However, fate had other plans. Her initial attempts at making a mark in radio did not go as expected, but instead of giving up, she pivoted to creating digital content.  

With unwavering determination, she launched her YouTube channel 'MostlySane' in 2015, producing relatable comedy sketches centered around everyday life. Her content resonated with millions, earning her a dedicated following and establishing her as one of India’s top content creators.  

Using Influence for Impact
 

Beyond humor, Prajakta realized the power of her reach and began advocating for issues close to her heart. She actively spoke about gender equality, mental health, and education, partnering with global initiatives to drive awareness.  

Her association with YouTube’s Creators for Change campaign amplified her voice, leading to significant collaborations, including a visit to the UN headquarters to participate in discussions on youth empowerment. Addressing an audience at the UN was a defining moment, cementing her status as an influencer with purpose.  

Breaking Stereotypes and Expanding Horizons
 
Prajakta didn’t limit herself to digital content. She ventured into acting, starring in Netflix’s Mismatched and making her Bollywood debut alongside Varun Dhawan and Anil Kapoor in 'JugJugg Jeeyo'. Her ability to seamlessly transition between content creation, activism, and acting speaks to her versatility and determination.
