New Delhi: Delhi metro blue line commuters on Wednesday faced disruption in service after a passenger jumped in front of an approaching train at Ramesh Nagar.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) source told MyNation that it was an attempt to suicide, following which the services were suspended.

While passengers said that the train was stopping for 10 to 15 minutes on every station, the source said that the blue line service was disrupted for 30 minutes.

Services along the line have been resumed, informed the DMRC source.

In 2018, a man was mowed down by a metro train at the Mandi House station. Though he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
