Bengaluru: As India suffered a severe crisis emanating from the second wave of the virus, many people have come forward to do their bit to alleviate the sufferings and create awareness.

Interestingly, a man who makes cots in Jodhpur weaves messages on covid-19 so that people can derive benefit out of it.

Shravan, the cot weaver told ANI, "Cornavirus has become a big problem in India. I weave messages like 'Desh Jeetega, Corona Harega', 'Do Gaz Doori, Mask Hai Zaroori' on the cots I make so that when people buy these and use them at home, it will always remind them of following these guidelines.

"I have been making cots for a long time. This time, I thought I should make it for the country and wrote messages to make people aware about COVID," he added.

How several people have come to help during covid times:

The present times have also shown us how noble souls have come forward to help their fellow citizens in the current times.

1.    Pregnant doctor does her bit

Shivani Sharma, who works as a doctor in primary health care centre, in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, is a prime example, reports India Today.

Presently, she is eight months pregnant. But that does not deter her from discharging her duty.

“I really feel blessed to serve people during this pandemic. I hope we will win this war against the pandemic,” says Shivani Sharma.

“Covid situation is akin to a war. It is in a critical state in our country. It is very important for us to stay together. I want to contribute whatever I can to my patients and be available to them. That is why I have chosen to work during this pandemic,” she adds.

Though she has been put to treat non-covid patients, she treats patients with covid symptoms as well.

Fortunately, her family backs her to the hilt.

Her husband Sourav Samotra says, “She is in the last stage of her pregnancy. I am proud that I have married a lady with such care and concern”.
