The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results for the Class 10 exams on Monday, 6 May.

Students can check their results on the board’s websites: cbseresults.nic.in.

This year, 13 students topped the CBSE Class 10 exams with 499 out of 500 marks. Of them, seven are boys and six, girls. Bhavana N Sivadas from Kerala is the all India topper in CBSE Class-10th Exams with 499 marks out of 500.

Students from the Dehradun region are the toast of the nation, figuring prominently in the list of toppers. Seven out 13 students, who have secured the first rank in this examination, are from schools of the Dehradun region. 

Siddhant Pengoriya of Lotus Valley INT School, Divyansh Wadhwa of Bal Bharti Public School, Ankur Mishra of SAJ School, Vatsal Varshney of Dewan Public School, Ish Madan of Ch Chhabil Dass Public School, Apoorva Jain of Uttam School for Girls and Shivani Lath of Mayoor School have all got 499 out of 500, securing the first rank.

Union Minister Smriti Irani took to Twitter to share the result of her daughter in the class 10 board exams.

Total pass percentage in CBSE Class-10th Exams is 91.1 %; Trivandrum (99.85%), Chennai (99%), Ajmer (95.89%) are top three regions.

"10th board results out . Daughter scored 82% . Proud that inspite of challenges she has done well. Way to go Zoe."

Earlier, there were rumours that the Class 10 results would be announced on Sunday.

This comes after the CBSE on 2 May declared the Class 12 results for all the regions. Two girls, Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora, scored 499 out of 500 marks.
