Under-19 cricket star, Avinav Yadav is truly an inspiration for the upcoming generation to look upto. Establishing himself in the field of cricket, this young lad from Siraha is working relentlessly towards improving his skills and to create an impact in the sports industry. 

He is a part of Kathmandu Golden’s squad in Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL), a popular franchise based T20 tournament in Nepal. Besides, Avinav has showcased his abilities in tournaments like Birgunj Premier League, College Cricket League, Khukuri Cup, U19 Nexus Cup and has also been included in 32-men camp for U19 National team in 2018.

A right handed batsman honing his skills effortlessly,  Avinav plays with passion by judging each and every ball and understanding the type of hit required. Acquainted with the know-how of bowl off-break and a brilliant batsman, he has established himself as a complete package of a player.
Reminiscing his passion for cricket he said, “I had a passion to be a cricketer from my early days. But as far as I remember, I started taking my cricketing skills seriously from the age of 11. Since then, I have been giving my hundred percent to be a better cricketer. I have made my own pitch in my village and I am practicing hard during this lockdown period also”. 

Considering Indian Cricket Captain Virat Kohli as his biggest inspiration, Avinav wishes to face Jasprit Bumrah for once in his life showcasing his remarkable batting skills. 

Currently, he is focused towards improving his skills in order to perform more consistently for his team and make his country proud. His dedication and determination to bring fame for the country is surely going to help him in gaining a big name in the cricket world.
