A division bench of the Bombay high court ordered Binoy, accused in bar dancer rape case to give his blood sample on July 30. The court also directed the accused to submit the test results at the court in two weeks in a sealed envelope.

Earlier on July 8, Binoy had agreed to sampling of his blood for DNA testing. But he failed to provide blood sample for the DNA test claiming that he was sick and requested the sampling of the blood for DNA testing be postponed.

Second time, Binoy had been reluctant to undergo the test, on the argument that the high court was yet to pronounce judgment on his plea to cancel the FIR.

On July 3, the Mumbai Dindoshi sessions court granted anticipatory bail to Binoy. The court had granted Binoy bail under strict conditions including, presenting himself before police officers every week for a month.

The accused was also required to pay a security deposit of Rs 25,000 and was not permitted to try to influence any witness, the court had remarked.
