Bengaluru: Ram Lalla in Ayodhya will soon be gifted khadi outfits by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Basant Panchami. They are created by fashion designer Manish Tripathi. Made under the “Project Ramlala”, it encourages use of khadi in our daily life and propagating the use of the fabric.

OpIndia adds that Project Ramlala is part of the ‘Sheher se Gaon Tak’ initiative by Tripathi, who started it amid the coronavirus pandemic after scores of migrant workers migrated back to their hometowns.

The project also has on its list of aims to upskill labourers and artisans to facilitate their earning potentials.

This falls completely in line with Atmanirbhar Bharat or self-reliant India which aims at encouraging local talent and providing them more opportunities to grow.

They Ayodhya verdict:

It was in November 2019 that the Supreme Court of India decreed that the Ayodhya land would go in favour of Hindus. The court also asked the central government to form a trust in 3 months to oversee the temple construction.
