India is going to add a milestone in the field of railways by manufacturing at least 1,000 new Amrit Bharat trains, and efforts are also being made to manufacture trains with a maximum speed of 250 kmph. The railways have started working on exporting Vande Bharat trains, according to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and the first shipment is anticipated in the next five years.

Speaking about the revolutionary steps the railways took during the last ten years of the Narendra Modi administration, he mentioned some of the major technological advances in the rail industry, including the construction of the first under-river water tunnel (for the Kolkata metro) and the highest railway bridge in the world, the Chenab bridge. As part of the ongoing Bullet Train project, Vaishnaw also discussed the inauguration of the first underwater tunnel in India, which will connect Mumbai and Thane. He highlighted that only five other nations in the world currently possess such capabilities.

Mr. Vaishnaw emphasized the characteristics of the Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system, known as Kavach, which is currently in use throughout India's rail network. He stated that while ATP was first introduced by other nations in the 1980s, our governments at the time paid little attention to this crucial component of passenger safety.

The minister discussed affordability by saying that they have designed Amrit Bharat, which is a world-class train. For just Rs 454, you may travel 1,000 kilometers with it.
The kind of affordability that has been offered is significant. Young people find Vande Bharat to be extremely popular. One Vande Bharat is essentially introduced into the fleet each week. In the upcoming years, they will be producing 400 to 500 of these trains, at the very least.

These bold plans show India's dedication to updating its rail system and giving its people access to reasonably priced, effective modes of transportation.
