Bengaluru: After dilly-dallying for well over 400 days, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal finally gave his consent for Kanhaiya Kumar to be prosecuted.

He is the former president of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union (JNUSU). He is charged with shouting anti-India slogans on the premises of the JNU several years ago.

With this permit, other accused like Umar Khalid, Anirban, Aakib Hussain, Mujib, Amar Gul, Bashrat Ali and Khalid Basir will also be probed by the Delhi Police Special Cell.
