Actor Viola Davis is set to play former first lady Michelle Obama in a series titled First Ladies. According to reports, Viola Davis is saying goodbye to How To Get Away With Murder’s Annalise Keating to play Barack Obama's love.

Showtime has given the prospective one-hour drama a three-script commitment. The show will be on the political and personal lives of the White House’s most famous spouses, with the first season showcasing
Obama, Eleanor Roosevelt and Betty Ford, reported Variety.

Novelist Aaron Cooley is writing the series and will also serve as the executive producer.

The series will focus on personal and political lives of first ladies from the history of the US. Season one will feature the life stories of Eleanor Roosevelt, Betty Ford and Obama.
