India Post 'National Level Letter Writing Competition': Win Prizes Up to Rs 50,000!

The Indian Postal Department is conducting Dhai Akhar National Level Letter Writing Competition. Prizes ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 50,000 will be awarded to the winners of this competition.

The Department of Posts is conducting the National Level Letter Writing Competition 2024 from September 14 to December 14. People of all ages are invited to participate. Participants can write their letters in English, Hindi, or any regional language on the topic "The Joy of Writing: The Importance of Letters in the Digital Age."

The competition will be organized into the following categories:

(i) Up to 18 years:
(a) Inland Letter Card Category
(b) Envelope Category

(ii) Above 18 years:
(a) Inland Letter Card Category
(b) Envelope Category

While there is no age limit for participating in the competition, the postal department stated in a press release that contestants must attach a certificate confirming their age, indicating whether they have attained the age of 18 as of January 1, 2024. Additionally, participants should include their name and residential address in the letter.

The winners at the state level will be given a first prize of Rs 25,000, 2nd prize of Rs 10,000 and 3rd prize of Rs 5,000. The winners at the national level will be given a first prize of Rs 50,000, 2nd prize of Rs 25,000 and 3rd prize of Rs10,000. The Department of Posts has requested the general public and students to participate in the letter writing competition.
