<p>The meeting chaired by PM Modi was scheduled for 4 pm on January 11 to discuss the Covid-19 situation and vaccine rollout across the country. Stressing that public representatives are not a part of 3-crore corona-warriors, frontline workers, PM Modi instructed all states to ensure that politicians don’t jump the queue, and take the vaccine only when their turn comes. </p>

<p>The roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccine will provide priority to the healthcare workers and the frontline workers who are estimated to be around 3 crores, followed by those above 50 years of age and the under-50 population groups with comorbidities numbering around 27 crores.</p>
