India's cleanliness has improved after the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Indore has been the cleanest city since 2017, and Surat is in second place. Here is a list of the top 10 cleanest cities in India.

Awareness around cleanliness has grown significantly since Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. However, there is still a long way to go for India to achieve its sanitation and hygiene goals.

Indore has topped the list of India's cleanest cities since 2017. Surat city of Gujarat is in second place. Navi Mumbai is in third place.

Municipal workers track each garbage truck via GPS. This will allow the authorities to easily determine whether the garbage trucks are providing proper service. Even small roads have colored garbage cans. CCTV cameras have also been installed for garbage disposal.

Three cities in Andhra Pradesh have made it to the list of cleanest cities. The three cities are: Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Tirupati. Ambikapur city of Chhattisgarh is in tenth place. New Delhi is in 9th place. Some major cities failed to make this list.
