In a recent press meet, acclaimed actor Fahadh Faasil disclosed details about his forthcoming role in the highly anticipated Rajinikanth starrer, 'Vettaiyan'. Faasil, who is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Aavesham,' slated for theaters on April 11, 2024, took the opportunity to shed light on his character in the Rajinikanth project.

The versatile actor revealed that he will be portraying a humorous character alongside the legendary Rajinikanth in 'Vettaiyan'. This marks a departure from his previous roles, indicating a shift towards a lighter, more comedic portrayal in Tamil cinema.

'Aavesham,' directed by Jithu Madhavan of 'Romancham' fame, features Fahadh Faasil in the role of a notorious gangster based in Bengaluru. The storyline revolves around his interaction with a group of college students who enlist his help in dealing with their seniors. The film boasts a musical score by Sushin Shyam, promising an engaging auditory experience with eight or more tracks.
