Nirmal Soni to play Dr Hathi's character in the long-running serial, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
After Kavi Kumar Azad died on July 9 due to cardiac arrest, Nirmal Soni will now be playing the role of Dr Hathi. Just after the funeral of Kavi Kumar, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's producer Asit Kumar Modi stated that a new face will be introduced as the character is still alive.
