In an interview with Times of India, Banerjee expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that 'Stree 2' promises to be even bigger and more entertaining than its predecessor. He reminisced about his experience working with co-stars Aparshakti Khurana and Shraddha Kapoor, describing it as a nostalgic reunion, particularly because the film was his first major role.

Banerjee also provided a significant update on the film's production, highlighting the meticulous attention to detail being devoted to the visual effects (VFX) by director Amar Kaushik. He explained that the VFX work is expected to be time-consuming due to Kaushik's perfectionist approach, ensuring that the final product meets his high standards.
