Petta director Karthik Subbaraj: Rajinikanth should become neta and protect Tamil Nadu

Having quit the software industry, director Karthik Subbaraj, turned from a Rajinikanth fan to a filmmaker and went on to direct a movie featuring the superstar. With Petta releasing on January 10, Subbaraj is all smiles for it took nearly three years for his dream to come true. Rajinikanth, in Petta, plays the role of a warden guarding the hostel. While Subbaraj was in Bengaluru to promote the film, he spoke exclusively to MyNation and said that he wants to see Rajini don the role of a neta in real life and guard Tamil Nadu.
