Triptii Dimri garnered attention with her performance in Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal,' recently opened up about her parents' reaction to her intimate scenes in the film. Dimri, who gained popularity and was hailed as the national crush, shared that her parents were initially taken aback upon seeing those scenes but eventually came around to understand their importance in the context of the film.

In an interview, Dimri recalled the discussions she had with her family regarding the significance of the intimate scene. 'My parents were completely rattled when they saw it. We had to have a long discussion on why that scene was crucial,' she revealed. Despite their initial shock, Dimri acknowledged that her parents were proud of her.

Dimri also recounted an incident after the release of her debut film 'Laila Majnu,' where her father called her on stage during a family event to showcase her achievements. However, she admitted feeling nervous and afraid, indicating the challenges of adjusting to public attention.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Dimri elaborated on her parents' reaction, stating, 'My parents got a little taken aback. (They said) "We have never seen something like this in films and you have done it." It took them time to get over that scene.' However, she emphasized that her parents were supportive, saying, "'You shouldn’t have done that but it’s okay. As parents, we will obviously feel this.'"

Dimri defended her choices, asserting that as an actor, she aimed to be honest with her characters and fulfill her job requirements. She expressed her conviction that as long as she felt comfortable and safe, there was no issue with performing intimate scenes.

Recounting the filming process, Dimri revealed that strict measures were in place to ensure her comfort during the intimate scene with Ranbir Kapoor. Only a limited number of crew members were allowed on set, and Kapoor continuously checked on her well-being. Dimri appreciated the sensitivity and care shown by the team, emphasizing the importance of such considerations in such scenes.

Since the release of 'Animal,' Dimri's popularity has soared, with a significant increase in her social media following. Her follower count has surged by 320 percent, reaching 5 million followers.
